The Schipperke Club of Finland is an association that operates under Finnish Toydogs association. The club has been founded on May 29th, 1979. In the beginning it was a subdivision for Suomen Seura- ja Kääpiökoira SSKY ry until 1986 when SSKY was divided into two different clubs SSKY ry and SKKY ry, also known as Finnish Toydog Association. Since 1986 The Schipperke Club of Finland has been a subdivision for Finnish Toydog Association.
On March 27th, 2000 The Schipperke Club of Finland was registered as its own association. The association has from there on been a member in these associations:
- Suomen Kääpiökoirat ry:ssä (SKKY)
- Suomen Kennelliitossa (SKL)
- Helsingin Seudun Kennelpiirissä (HSKP)
